My Story

2 Oct 2024

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. Childhood should be magical & imagine how cancer would feel to someone who hasn't even seen half a decade of life, I'd imagine it would sap the happiness out of what's supposed to be the most care & worry free time of their lives and they still manage to find good spirits better than middle age or elderly even. Little battlers deserve to get all the help possible. It should be for that reason we want to donate & not primarily as tax benifits.

I've suffered skull fractures and brain bleeds & a hospitalization is not easy by any means. I'm very overweight with disability but I'm going to complete my goal no matter what and would love any contribution people can afford in the current economy.

I don't have a lot of money but will try my best to give what I can without a current job. Im hoping that people in the position to do so, donate generously. You will be given a receipt, recognition of donation or (anonymous if you prefer) all with peace of mind that donations go to cancer research that hopefully finds a cure for the kids.🤞⚕️

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure forchildhood cancer.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Together, we can save little lives.

Thanks for your support.
