….. every kid that has to; miss school, lose touch with their friends, get used to needles and cannulas, get used to hospital food, lose their hair, endure months of nausea, cope with being the kid with cancer, told they need to rethink their lives, endure so many appointments and results, miss out on camp again and again, wonder what a trial is, have the worst headaches, know their own MRN number off by heart, be happy that dad found a park near the hospital this time, have support team, spend weeks and months at hospital again, retreat into their own private darkness…….. All these things you wouldn’t wish for anyone. For the kids who are so resilient, stoic and so unfairly sufferers of this crap disease. Cancer. The money we raise creates opportunity for a cure, through funding medical trials and research. Only through funding research and medical trials will there be a better horizon for so many teenagers and children. Every amount is worth it, every year. Thanks for your help. Matt
