Fellow Riders,

August is all but over which leaves September between you and the GCC - and if past experience is anything to go by, September will be finished in "blink".

The chapter has hit 50 riders (awesome - some are children and some of us should know better. Lol!)

and with this many riders, I think we could arrange a "chapter ride" or two - somewhere around this lovely piece of real estate.

Suggest a weekend event - nothing to strenuous and with the prospect of a drink enroute. A social activity that will make people look and wonder "who" & "what" we're doing - well "who" will be obvious by the GCC jerseys among the group AND maybe they'll ask "why" (mission accomplished).

If you've not done so already, please ensure that your bicycle is "safe" and "ready to ride" - as with most riders, we are familiar with the fact that we don't "bounce" that we'll. Lol!

We're at 38 days still the GCC.

Trust everyone's plans are coming together and your bicycles are ready to roll.

The next few venues for raffle tickets are Nambour Plaza today, Coles, Nambour on Tues 26 Aug 25, Kawana Shopping World on Thursday 28 Aug 25 and Saturday 30 Aug 25 will see us at Northshore Shopping Centre, Pacific Paradise.

Drop by and grab some tickets for yourself and tell your friends.

Good Morning All,

My GCC raffles are officially underway (after some "red tape).

Today we're at Northshore Shopping Center, PACIFIC PARADISE, on Saturday 16 Aug 25 we'll be at the Yandina Markets, YANDINA, and on Tuesday 19 Aug 25 you'll find us at White's IGA, BLI BLI.

So if your out and about - drop by and grab yourselves some tickets (the prizes are great) and the cause, is amazing.

I'll post the next few locations in a few days - here's a "challenge" for the chapter -- "tell someone about the raffle/GCC and help raise awareness".

Morning All,

I have just been advised that the GCC raffle scheduled for Nambour Plaza @ 05 Aug 25 is NOT proceeding.

I'm unable to complete the required documentation in time.

Apologise for any inconvenience however, I have asked for a stall on Saturday 23 Aug 25.

Stand by for any updates - just "luv red tape".

Morning All,

For your information and dissemination throughout our collective circle of family, friends and the wider Sunshine Coast - I'm conducting a GCC raffle over Aug - Sep 25.

I'm in the final stages of securing venues for the raffle ie: Coles, Nambour, Sunshine Plaza and the markets and when the schedule is confirmed, I'll post the details here.

The first location will be Nambour Plaza on Tuesday 05 Aug 25.
