My Story

Hi everyone,

The bikes are turning again at EFM Kawana and this October, we’re riding for something much bigger than kilometres.

For the third year, our club is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer.

Cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia. Around 90 children are diagnosed every month, and sadly, 3 children lose their lives every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

That’s why we're getting on the bikes again.

Throughout October, our members will be clocking up kilometres and raising funds to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute and its work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer and ultimately finding a cure.

Every kilometre counts. Every donation counts. And when our members get behind something together, those small individual efforts can add up to something pretty powerful.
