This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

I was to start riding around Tasmania on 1 october, but my sister Margie died after a long battle with a lung disease and I'm still sorting out her household. I intend to go to Tassie on the 12 october but don't really start my ride till about the 20th. So ive had to really reduce the kms i can ride which is a bit lame. But I hope my supporters will see the benefit of a donation is for the better health of children with cancer, not the number of kms i can /or can't ride.
