I'm participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise funds for the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric cancer, a cause that feels closer to home now. As a parent to my 1 year-old son, Alexander, I can't help but feel a deep sense of urgency to support children battling this disease, not only to help support the families going through this but also to improve the treatment for all the kids suffering with cancer. It breaks my heart to imagine kids like him being tied to machines instead of running around, laughing, and enjoying their childhood.

Paediatric cancer is a reality that many families face, and it’s a fight no child should have to endure. The funds raised through this challenge go directly to vital research and support programs that can change lives and give these brave kids a fighting chance. I believe every child deserves access to the best care possible and the opportunity to live a happy, healthy life.
