Last year I I lost my mum to dementia whilst cycling 1009kms last year and decided then that i would dedicate this years ride to mum by cycling the number of months she blessed this earth which is 1033, also an old family friend lost his son, Dante to brain cancer so I thought it important to cycle the months he graced this earth also (252) which is why this year I will cycle 1285kms to celebrate the memory of two beautiful souls.
