My Story

As a 10 year cancer survivor myself, I know Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

This October 2023 it’s the 9th year, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I started to help my own recovery and to help ensure we work hard to ensure kids can live a cancer free life.

I even roped my father into the cause. At 82 he is riding for the 7th time. He always rides further and raises more funds than me. What a role model.

Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week. That’s just not acceptable

So dad and I are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
