I'm Riding For
William Kiefer
My son William was diagnosed with cancer, a Rhabdoid Tumor of the Kidney, just after his first birthday. This is a very rare form of cancer and unfortunately a very aggressive and lethal cancer. William showed amazing strength during his battle with cancer and brought much joy to the world.
My Story
In memory of my son William, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge this October to fight kids' cancer!
I lost my son William to a very rare form of cancer, Rhabdoid Tumor of the Kidney. After experiencing this tragedy , I wasn’t ready to stop fighting cancer. I know I can still fight to provide hope for the thousands of children and their families that today face the same life threatening battle.
Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.
And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Together, we can save little lives.
Thanks for your support.
