I'm Riding For

Colbey & Ella

In 2013 my step-son, Colbey, finished his Ewings Sarcoma (bone cancer) treatment. He had the humerus in his right arm removed and replaced by his left fibular followed by lots more chemo. After a year of rehab, Colbey went back to playing, reffing & coaching basketball and competitive tennis. He is thankfully now out of remission. Well done Colbey. Keep it up! Ella was in hospital with Colbey and was in and out ever since. A massive fighter who unfortunately lost her battle in 2023. We followed her journey closely. Ella was and remains inspirational to us all.

My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
