That time of the year again

today I received an email from the team at GCC inviting me to ride again this October for the 12th year in a row. I almost said no as this year has been so full of trauma in our own lives that I find it hard to get enthusiastic. I’ve hardly been in the saddle of any of my four beloved bikes for months. But as always , the thoughts of children suffering from a disease they don’t deserve is enough to motivate me in to dusting off the bikes and inflating those tires. Who knows how far I will ride or how much I will manage to raise in dollars but hey, here I am giving it my best shot. Wish me luck, and thanks in advance to all of you who have followed my journey and made generous donations for kids in need.
