My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

2025 I’m doing it again

I’m a sucker for punishment but also cancers not fair especially when it affects the kids.

So I’m having another go this year to raise as much as possible to help fight kids cancer.

Last year my goal was to ride everyday through October come rain or shine and raise as much money as possible, although it was very successful raising money, hitting many personal best and riding more km in that time I did miss my goal of riding 31days straight due to getting sick right at the end of the month but regardless to how sick I was I only took 2days break and managed to ride on the final day and hitting over 1000km which I’m pleased with but a goals a goal so I’m determined this year to complete that goal of riding 31 days of October 2025 and smash the km way above the 1000km, these parts are on me but I do need the support of my friends, work colleagues, community and family to raise as much money as possible to Fight Kids Cancers.
