My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    Day 2

    Another brief afternoon ride, the heat makes it difficult to do much more unfortunately.

    Day 3

    First morning ride, would have recorded a longer distance but someone forgot to hit "go" on his watch. Much nicer experience without the heat.

    Day 4

    Another good morning ride, properly recorded this time. Had my first swoop today, only a warning, no ear nibbles.

    Wow, starting off the month with some great support from my colleagues! Huge thank you to all those that have donated already.

    Had my first ride today, just a short one to test the afternoon heat compared to my usual mornings. It sucked! Will definitely be putting more effort in on the weekends when I can go in the mornings...
