My Story

As a cancer survivor myself I know how difficult having cancer is and could only imagine how hard and scary it is for children so this October I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life

so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve, this year i may not be able to ride as much as in previous years due to my own cancer recovery but i'm still hoping to raise valuable funds to help the kids so please give what you can.

Another year starts

Hi All,

Thanks to those who have already donated and those thinking of donating.

This challenge is very close to my heart being the father of 2 wonderful healthy kids who have their ups and downs but are healthy.

These kids with cancer are being supported so well by the staff and researchers using this money to directly find new treatments and cures, so every little bit helps and it's a really worthy charity to support.
