My Story
Hi all,
5 years ago, i was diagnosed with Prostate cancer.
It was a really scary time but luckily i got it early and it's been removed but i still have day to day challenges around this.
I was in my early 50's, so seeing these kids go through far worse challenges is heartbreaking and i cannot imagine what they are going through but i see the support they get from CMRI and the difference that each little donation makes when all put together so this October I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for my 10th year!
Every donation no matter how small helps so please support this wonderful cause.
Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.
Kids should be living life
so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve, this year i may not be able to ride as much as in previous years due to my own cancer recovery but i'm still hoping to raise valuable funds to help the kids so please give what you can.
