This October, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer, but this year is slightly different. This year I am riding for a close friend, Wayne RICHTER, who is currently battling blood cancer, requiring a bone marrow transplant. At the time of riding the Great Cycle Challenge we will be hoping for great news that the transplant has been successful.

I have been involved in this challenge since 2013 and although I struggle at times to maintain motivation and energy, it nothing like what the children, family and friends have to endure in their battles with cancer. If I can help, even a little bit, by riding for the month of October to raise awareness and funds to battle cancer I'm happy to do it.

This year I will again allow my sponsors to dictate how far I ride. For every $ donated I will ride 1km. The more you donate the further I will ride. Remember this not only gives you the opportunity to inflict pain on my behind, but more importantly you'll be helping sick kids, family and friends fight cancer.
