This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

My daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia in Feb 2021. After an incredibly difficult year of treatment, including a bone marrow transplant, my daughter is in remission and normal life is steadily resuming for her and our family. Sadly many kids diagnosed with cancer don't make it to remission and sadly, 3 die every week. Those children who do reach remission still live with lasting side effects. Treatment has improved but it is still harsh.

Money donated to the Children's Medical Research Institute allows them to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment. While it's unlikely a 'silver bullet' cure will be found to treat all types of cancers in the immediate future, your funding makes meaningful improvements to effectiveness of treatment and improves the quality of kids' lives who have to endure it.
