Hi Kate. The weekend looks pretty iffy.

If it's doable, we are doing the Capital City Trail I think on Saturday the 25th and the smaller Around the bay on Sunday.26th. but there is cyclonic activity and perhaps 15mm of rain on Sunday. egads.

We did Rokeby-Noojie the other day. I didn't get very far. too hard for me. Pretty but the inclines were too steep and too sudden for me. (picture below). I like good rail trails for safety.

It's my history with this board that no one sees it. I don't think they get alerts.

We are Buzz Box Cycling team and meeting with a woman and daughter from this team. You are welcomed to join us. I am not very fast at all but my husband can probably keep up with you.

I saw someone on the road Sunday - Monash Way. Maybe two wearing the GCC shirts. One may have been Jeremy Burrows? He lives close.

Thanks for the reply. That Rokeby-Noojie area is tough - some steep pinches. I won't make it to Melb this weekend - will just get the km in locally. We have some of the best riding around here anyway I reckon.

Let's get a ride together sometime next year. Are you doing the Cadel Evans Ride?

Do you ever ride meeniyan to Foster ish? we do that trail. Yesterday, we did Foster to Welshpool. I ride very slowly. My husband rides exactly twice as far as I do (he laps back and forth like a labrador chasing a frisbee :) ) Seriously, I only do 10km/h on gravel and never ride on roads except the cadel ride.

We are doing the Great Vic for the millionth time this year. I don't ride. I drive from hotel to hotel. I may do some trails while they ride. it will be different this year. Then we are doing 4 days with Cadel Evans - (I actually got to ride with him in the people's ride for about 200 meters. he was soooo kind. We are also thinking of trying the warburton trail. Have you tried that? also on our list is bairnsdale to orbust. but the hill scares me. I am old :-) This pic is us at Cadel finish line.
