On September 10, 2024 Awesome Kids4kids team was recognised for their contribution to volunteering. Eddie has been taking part in the GCC since 2018 and Doug and Hugh since 2019. This year they have been busy collecting Return & Earn cans as part of their sponsorship and have already collected over 62,500 cans & bottle thanks to the help of so many others. Please sponsor the boys as they all strive to become All Stars this year, Ie will have raised over $10,000 each for the CMRI since they started.
This October, Awesome kid4kids is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
