I have linked all my cycling apps that are linked to my Garmin because I want there to be no questions over the rides I do. Unfortunately the first testing ride to see how my ankle would cope wasn't auto logged but I have the Garmin, Strava and map my fitness data.
If you haven't guessed this about me I will never cheat, I mean I rolled my ankle days before the challenge started and I have taken a few days to assess my capabilities. Now I know I can ride my goal distance on a mountain bike so I guess I have to step up and do what's required. My minor inconvenience is nothing compared to the lives I am trying to change. Those little troopers are inspirational so I will buckle down to hopefully make a few smiles.
Well I didn't want to make this easy so the most comfortable bike to ride with the injured ankle is the mountain bike of course 😂. Just adds a bit more of a challenge to the goal.

So I rolled my ankle last week and whilst scans have revealed no bone damage it's most likely ligament damage. Currently on crutches with no weight bearing on the problem ankle.
I obviously subconsciously thought 400km wasn't challenging enough 😂 Don't worry though I will get to my goal
