The sun graced us with her beauty for the last weekend of October and this culminated in hitting our 200km ride goal!
Saturday took us 13km from Belco all the way down to Lake Burley Griffin in the heart of Canberra, to check out Scrivener Dam. Whilst downhill most of the way, there was still a significant uphill portion to conquer!
Sunday wasn't a day for rest! We added another 15km to our ride tally, making a decent run around Lake Ginninderra to run out the final weekend. Little bro was eager to join in on the action, having ditched his training wheels the week before!
When it was announced that the newly widened pathways on the Lake G eastern shoreline was completed, that was a prompt for us to wander out and check it out.. and rack up the KMs whilst we were at it! 7km around the lake plus another 2km shadowing little brother on his ride brings us closer to reaching our 200km target! We were treated to a beautiful sunset for our troubles.
I just hit $5,000 to fight kids' cancer! Thank you so much for your support.
